Maintenance Mechanic Wanted at Jernbro in Kiruna

We are currently seeking a maintenance mechanic for our operations in Kiruna. The role is operational and involves varied work in the field in an industrial environment, in close collaboration with colleagues and management. As our business grows and we receive more inquiries, we are now looking to strengthen our team.

The role does not involve formal personnel responsibility, but the focus is on practical work and good collaboration in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in the field
• Mechanical work and welding
• Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing machines and equipment
• Reading blueprints and basic documentation
• Contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of work
• Collaborating with colleagues and management in daily tasks

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical work and welding
• Good ability to read and understand blueprints
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and solution-focused
• Driver's license (B)
• Good industrial experience and ability to work in demanding environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance
• Certification in welding or other relevant training
• Experience in industrial maintenance
